Manager - L&D (Content Specialist)

Summary:The role is of an experienced and creative Training Content Developer to design, develop, and manage impactful training materials that support our organisation’s learning and development goals. In this role, you will collaborate with trainers and stakeholders to create engaging, up-to-date, and compliant training content that enhances employee skills, knowledge, and overall performance. You would also be responsible for internal communication content.

Key Responsibilities:Design and develop high-quality training materials including e-learning modules, presentations, manuals, and videos.Structure curriculum with a logical flow to support effective learning.Regularly update content to align with policy changes and industry best practices.Collaborate with SMEs to ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.Create mobile-friendly learning modules for field and remote teams.Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.Analyze training participation, progress, and completion data.Conduct training needs assessments and deliver targeted learning solutions.Identify and manage the implementation of a learning management system.Collect feedback and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.Support internal communications to ensure alignment of messaging.Stay current with innovative tools, technologies, and trends in training.Maintain organized records of all training content and updates.Prepare and present reports on training development activities.Support internal communications to ensure alignment of messaging.

Required Competencies:Proficient in multimedia design tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, and other content creation platforms.Strong knowledge of learning management system (LMS). Preferably, should have worked and implemented any LMS.Skilled in creating multimedia content that is engaging and informative.Strong creative thinking and adaptability to new technologies and learning methods.Ability to conduct needs assessments and translate findings into actionable training solutions.Competence in analyzing training data to drive improvements.Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work cross-functionally with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:Postgraduate degree in human resource5+ years of experience in training content creation or a similar role.Excellent writing, editing, and content development abilities.Solid knowledge of multimedia design software and best practices.Strong analytical, articulation, and project management skills.
