Global Accounting Process Owner (m/f/d)

You'll own the global accounting process agenda end-to-end: setting standards, driving harmonization across regions and shared service centres, and leading the shift toward intelligent, AI-enabled finance operations.

About The Role

Define and govern global accounting standards, policies, procedures, and controls across all Flix entities and shared service centresDrive process harmonization and standardization across regions, business units, and GBS/SSC environmentsLead the global process optimization roadmap — from RPA and workflow automation to agentic AI and ERP enhancements — prioritizing initiatives that deliver measurable valueSet and monitor process KPIs, service levels, and performance targets; lead continuous improvement cycles based on dataEmbed compliance across accounting policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standardsPartner with SSC operations, IT, country and regional finance teams, Product Owners, and external providers to optimize end-to-end process performanceApply process mining, analytics, and benchmarking to surface inefficiencies, identify root causes, and adopt leading practicesLead change management — communications, training, and adoption — for new processes and technologies

About You

Big 4 background at Senior Manager level or above in Finance Transformation, Accounting Advisory (FAAS), or GBS/Shared Services — this is the core requirementProven track record delivering multi-country finance transformation or process excellence programs; international experience in Europe or North America is a strong plusDeep expertise in end-to-end accounting processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) with the ability to translate business requirements into technology-enabled solutionsHands-on experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and finance technology tools; familiarity with process automation (RPA, APIs, workflow tools) and process mining is highly valuedExperience working in or alongside product and engineering teams in agile environments (sprint reviews, roadmap planning)Strong stakeholder management across global, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teamsDegree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus
