Job Summary:
We are looking for a Scheduling Operations professional to support power scheduling and monitoring activities. The role involves real-time plant generation monitoring, schedule preparation and submission, DSM analysis, incident management, MIS reporting, and regulatory compliance. Candidates should be comfortable working in rotational shifts and possess strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor plant generation and scheduling activities in real time.Analyze generation trends, schedules, and weather forecasts.Prepare and submit generation schedules to IPPs, SLDCs, and RLDCs.Perform DSM calculations and prepare accuracy reports.Manage client registrations and operational records.Respond to operational alerts and incidents as per defined procedures.Prepare MIS reports and operational dashboards.Track regulatory updates and ensure compliance with applicable guidelines.Support team operations and stakeholder coordination.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.1-4 years of experience in power scheduling, renewable energy operations, grid operations, or energy forecasting.Knowledge of DSM regulations, SLDC/RLDC processes, and power scheduling practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
