Cloud Security Product Manager

We are looking for a Product Manager, Cloud Security Services who combines deep cybersecurity and cloud security expertise with strong product management and commercial capabilities.

The candidate will own the strategy, roadmap, development, launch, adoption, and lifecycle management of the security portfolio for Airtel Public Cloud. The portfolio will include services such as WAF/WAAP, EDR, SOC, SIEM, VA/PT, KMS/HSM, DDoS, CSPM, Secrets Manager, IAM, and related managed security services.

The candidate will work closely with Security Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Architecture, Network, Compute & Storage, Platform Engineering, Security Operations, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Sales, Solution Architects, OEMs, partners, and customers to translate enterprise security requirements into scalable, automated, consumable, and commercially viable cloud security products.The role will be responsible for ensuringAdoption and revenue growth of cloud security servicesSecurity service availability, reliability, scalability, and SLA complianceProtection of customer workloads, applications, APIs, identities, data, and infrastructureAlignment with sovereign cloud and regulated-industry requirementsSuccessful delivery of the cloud security product roadmapCompetitive pricing, packaging, licensing, TCO, and unit economicsAPI-first and self-service security provisioningReduced service onboarding and provisioning timelinesImproved threat visibility, detection coverage, and response capabilitiesStandardization of recurring customer security requirements into cloud-native productsKey Responsibilities & Technical SkillsOwn the end-to-end product lifecycle, commercialization, and growth of Airtel Public Cloud Security Services across multiple regions and Availability Zones.Define and architect security services including WAF/WAAP, DDoS Protection, EDR, SOC/SIEM, VAPT, CSPM, KMS/HSM, Secrets Management, IAM, Zero Trust, Cloud Workload Protection, Application & API Security, and Container/Kubernetes Security.Design scalable, resilient, secure-by-default, API-first, and multi-tenant security architectures integrated with compute, storage, networking, databases, Kubernetes, and platform services.Drive capabilities across threat detection, security monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, cloud posture management, compliance, risk remediation, and security automation.Enable self-service security services through APIs, Infrastructure-as-Code, DevSecOps, CI/CD integration, orchestration, and policy-as-code.Define security requirements for sovereign cloud, regulated workloads, data residency, privacy, governance, auditability, high availability, disaster recovery, RTO/RPO, and service SLAs/SLOs.Collaborate with Engineering, Build, Delivery, and Cloud Platform teams to embed security controls across onboarding, workload deployment, networking, storage, identity, and operational workflows.Drive product discovery through customer, market, regulatory, and competitive insights; benchmark against hyper-scalers and leading cybersecurity providers to identify capability gaps and roadmap priorities.Evaluate OEMs, partners, and security technologies through POCs, benchmarking, and vendor assessments, focusing on functionality, scalability, interoperability, automation, security efficacy, and TCO.Define service packaging, pricing, licensing, monetization models, unit economics, and go-to-market strategies in partnership with business and finance teams.Track adoption, revenue, service performance, customer feedback, and operational metrics to continuously enhance the cloud security portfolio.Product Strategy & RoadmapTranslate customer, technology, regulatory, and market requirements into the cloud security product roadmap.Define short-, medium-, and long-term product capabilities, service tiers, and enhancements.Benchmark Airtel Public Cloud security services against hyper-scalers, sovereign cloud providers, MSSPs, and leading cybersecurity vendors.Identify capability gaps and prioritize new products, integrations, and service enhancements.Create PRDs, feature specifications, architecture requirements, business cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.Work with Agile/Scrum teams to prioritize execution, manage product backlogs, and ensure successful product launches.Define launch readiness criteria covering validation, scalability, operations readiness, support, billing, compliance, and sales enablement.Develop differentiated propositions for enterprises, government, BFSI, healthcare, and other regulated industries while balancing standardization and customer requirements.Required Skills & Experience8-12 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, managed security services, enterprise technology, cloud platforms, or product management.Strong product management skills covering strategy, roadmap, customer discovery, prioritization, go-to-market, commercialization, and lifecycle management.Demonstrated experience with one or more cloud security domains such as WAF/WAAP, DDoS Protection, EDR, SOC/SIEM, VAPT, CSPM, KMS/HSM, Secrets Management, Cloud Workload Protection, or Managed Security Services.Experience working with cloud service providers, hyperscalers, telecom cloud providers, cybersecurity OEMs, MSSPs, or large-scale enterprise platforms.Strong understanding of cloud and cloud-native security architectures across compute, storage, networking, IAM, Kubernetes, APIs, observability, Zero Trust, encryption, and workload protection.Strong knowledge of SOC/SIEM, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, security monitoring, and security operations.Understanding of web applications, APIs, DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, routing, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, security groups, and network segmentation.Experience defining service tiers, KPIs, SLAs/SLOs, performance targets, pricing models, licensing constructs, unit economics, and managed-service commercial models.Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD security, Infrastructure-as-Code, policy-as-code, automation, and cloud-native security practices.Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, product discovery, backlog management, PRDs, user stories, POCs, and product lifecycle management.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.Ability to translate complex security, regulatory, and customer requirements into scalable, repeatable cloud products.Experience building or managing security services for enterprise-grade public cloud platforms is preferred.Exposure to sovereign cloud, government cloud, regulated industries, or critical infrastructure environments is desirable.Experience with self-service and Product-Led Growth (PLG) models for cloud or cybersecurity services is a plus.Familiarity with OpenStack, Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, AI-driven security operations, and distributed platforms is desirable.Relevant cloud, cybersecurity, architecture, or product-management certifications are preferred.
