Managerial Responsibilities:

He should analyze any datacenter related requirement/concern at the first level raised by other departments.Ensure all data center-related calls are handled promptly (within SLA) and diagnosed accurately and provide appropriate responses promptly & tracked till closure.Maintain & monitor all pieces of evidence/artifacts captured for any audit.Provide all relevant data for the dashboard against all possible datacenter related measurements.Monitor all day to day datacenter related operational tasks being performed by the team & the vendor

Technical Responsibilities

L2/L3 Support in Linux Administration including Clustering and OS Management.Manage and Maintain AWS Cloud with EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, RDS, etc. Specialty in VPN tunneling.Design and administer AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts and regions.Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.Automate AWS provisioning and operational tasks using AWS CLI, Python, or scripting.Configure and troubleshoot VPC Peering, Transit Gateway, VPN.Work with tools such as CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, SIEM, network monitoring and enterprise monitoring platforms.Manage VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Internet/NAT Gateways, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, PrivateLink, VPN and Direct Connect.Manage the Open stack setup & handle all L1-2 level queries.Backup Administration using EMC Networker including Image and module base backups with DR restorations.Manage and maintain Data center operation including Server, Storage and Devices commissioning and decommissioning.For any new server/infra application installation or evaluation, should conduct installation tasks in coordination with all possible internal/external stakeholders.

Critical – AWS Cloud hands-on experience, Linux Administration (KVM, Openstack), Datacenter Management (SAN Storage, HP/IBM Chassis/Blades, Enterprise servers), Back-up Tools, Virtualization (Red hat, VMware)Essential – Hardware Troubleshooting – Cloud (Azure, OCI), Servers & SAN Storage, basic DB knowledge.Good to Have – Patch Mgt, Monitoring Tools, Networking concept.
