Position Title

Chief Manager - NPD (Cable Division)

Position Summary

This position is responsible for new and existing HV/EHV cable product development and is responsible for providing process support to solve material and design related issues.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Preparing Technical Particulars / Design Datasheets & Cross-sectional drawings for EHV, HV, MV XLPE, Solar, MVCC Cables as per Indian & International standardsPreparing manufacturing guidelines for plant production teamKnowledge of Indian Standards (IS) & International Standards (IEC, BS, AS/NZS, UL etc)Raw material estimation (Bill of material) calculation for cable costingCalculations of all Electrical parameters applicable for HV/EHV cableCalculation of accessories for EHV cable turnkey projects along with cable system designAbility to design new productsKnowledge about Raw materials of HV/EHV cableKnowledge about HV/EHV cable testingFamiliar with SAP/AutoCAD / CYMCAP

Sterlite Electric Limited (formerly known as Sterlite Power Transmission Limited) is a
