Full job description
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain modular backend services using Java (Spring Boot) with a focus on scalability, resilience, and clean architecture.
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Take end-to-end ownership of backend projects across the entire SDLC from requirement analysis and system design to deployment, monitoring, and enhancements.
Build and optimize video streaming backends, including working with HLS/DASH, media encoding workflows, and low-latency content delivery pipelines.
Drive performance tuning, latency reduction, and bottleneck resolution across high-traffic systems to ensure uptime, scalability, and fast response times.
Requirements:
Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
Proven expertise in building scalable, high-performance backend systems.
Hands-on experience with video streaming protocols (HLS/DASH), media encoding workflows, and content delivery optimization.
Proficiency in system design, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and caching solutions (Redis, Memcached).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and resilient system design.
