Job Purpose
Responsible for the oversight and management of the Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) process in compliance with DGCA.
Develop and implement ARC-related policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Accountabilities
Functional Activities
Lead and manage the ARC process for all aircraft within the airline's fleet.
Prepare annual ARC calendar and release monthly ARC Roster.
Ensure that all ARC applications are completed accurately and submitted on time.
Develop and implement ARC-related policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with ARC requirements.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure that all aircraft maintenance meets regulatory requirements.
Participate in audits and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies.
Collaborate with the safety department to assess and address safety-related airworthiness concerns.
Participate in safety meetings and contribute to safety initiatives.
Lead teams to manage and maintain ARC-related documentation and records.
Develop and deliver ARC-related training to maintenance and engineering personnel.
Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to ARC and aircraft maintenance.
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the airworthiness review function.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and avionics.
Provide technical support and expertise for airworthiness-related matters.
Team Management
Lead the team and provide direction on execution / implementation of tasks by prioritizing functional and organization goals.
Support team members in collaborating across multiple internal/external stakeholders.
Support, nurture, and develop the team members’ skills.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Minimum Education requirements
An aircraft maintenance engineer qualification along with appropriate DGCA license or a relevant engineering degree (aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionics).

10-15 years’ experience in application of aviation safety.
