Assistant General Manager – Power Trading and Renewable Energy Operations
Location: Gurugram Haryana Experience: 14–18 Years
Role Summary: Lead Renewable Energy Operations with end-to-end responsibility for Forecasting & Scheduling, DSM Management, Power Trading, Portfolio Optimization, Real-Time Monitoring, and Regulatory Compliance. Drive forecasting accuracy, minimize DSM exposure, optimize market participation, and maximize portfolio revenue through data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead forecasting, scheduling, and real-time monitoring of renewable energy assets.Manage DSM operations, settlements, reconciliation, and loss-reduction initiatives.
Oversee power trading, exchange operations, NOAR processes, and REC compliance.
Monitor SCADA performance, data availability, and operational execution across projects.
Optimize portfolio performance through market analysis, trading strategies, and revenue enhancement initiatives.
Drive digital transformation, automation, analytics, and dashboard development across operations.
Ensure compliance with Grid Code, DSM Regulations, Market Regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Establish MIS, KPI dashboards, governance frameworks, and performance monitoring systems.
Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with RLDCs, SLDCs, QCAs, Project Teams, Power Exchanges, and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; MBA/Master's preferred.14–18 years of experience in Renewable Energy Operations, Power Markets, Forecasting & Scheduling, DSM, or Energy Trading.
Strong knowledge of power sector regulations, grid operations, energy markets, and renewable energy portfolio management.
