Commercial & Merchant Servicing GBI enables the delivery of superior service to our Commercial & Merchant clients. Leading international strategic projects, coordinated operational integration of new procedures, enhancing processes and implementing technical solutions. CMS GBI collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve project deliverables and timelines, ensuring an ongoing continuum of service enhancements and targeted improvements to increase the value of American Express to our customers.
Responsibilities
This role is working in a servicing environment, leading or participating in a portfolio of projects and initiatives. The analyst will support Commercial & Merchant Services Operations in planning and project delivery, working with key stakeholders to focus on customer experience and optimizing processes. The role will be focused on executing Commercial & Merchant projects collaborating across multiple GS functions. They may participate as GS representative for CMS on wide-ranging projects and assist in formulating and recommending tactical solutions for change management, operational issues, feeding into thought leadership activities and investigating opportunities for process improvements. Monitor progress against program deadlines; managing several tasks simultaneously and assist with creating reports & dashboards providing, progress, analytical trends with emerging risks/challenges etc. for leadership review and decisioning. Leading projects remotely in multi-markets across regions for CMS.
Qualifications
Strong sense of ownership, self-motivated to work independently and able to demonstrate capability to drive results within project timelines and prioritise multiple tasks/projects concurrently Proven ability to build and leverage relationships to achieve deliverables with positive results Confident to challenge the status quo with the skilfulness to influence without authority and provide effective solutions for the best outcome for all parties Thrive on variety and be comfortable in an ambiguous and fast paced project team environment Methodical approach to project management skills with analytical mindset Demonstrate a pro-active and creative approach to problem solving Diverse experience and understanding of multiple business functions High level understanding of the Commercial & Merchant Servicing environment Highly effective communicator able to develop and present communications for key project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders Confident with designing operational project material, presentations including training, CHC, FAQ’s that are appropriate for servicing team audience Be able to effectively collaborate with multiple partners across various business units, cross-functional & cross-geographical teams to deliver results Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent working knowledge of MS-office suite (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Flexible to work in different time zones as per the need of project
