Role Summary
Advisor - Payroll Services is responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate processing of all payrolls and related queries for a specific region, ensuring compliance with control and policy requirements. This role involves leading and managing teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining effective controls, and fostering a positive team culture while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
What Would You Be Responsible For
Timely and Accurate Payroll Processing Oversee teams responsible for the on-time delivery and accuracy of day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirementsOverseeing the on-time distribution of payroll files, ensuring accurate payroll payments, timely submission of regulatory tasks, and resolving escalated queries within the agreed SLAsHandling escalations and resolving complex issues that arise during the payroll process, providing guidance and support to team membersContinuous Improvement and Productivity Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive process improvements and enhance efficiency in payroll operationsLead and facilitate brainstorming sessions and cross-functional discussions to generate ideas for process enhancements and implement successful initiativesAdherence to Controls and Compliance Requirements Maintaining effective controls and ensuring compliance with internal control standards to minimize errors and risks in the payroll processPromote RT3C Values Act as a role model for the RT3C values (Courage, Curiosity, Care) within the team and foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
What Experience, Skills And Qualifications Are Required
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required9-12 years of experience in payroll processing or related roles, preferably with experience in overseeing a teamIn-depth understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, regulations, and payroll policiesStrong managerial skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team. Experience in workload allocation, and performance monitoringThorough knowledge of compliance requirements and control frameworks related to payroll processingExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.Experience in using payroll software or systems for data entry, calculations, and generating payroll reports. SAP is beneficial.
