This Position reports to:

R&D Team Lead

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Maintaining recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work.Finding new ways of solving problems by following your ideas, creating hypotheses, and defining ways to validate them.Documenting work results (like findings, designs, or software), allowing others to maintain and improve them.Understanding and initiating IP generation in your area of specialization and participating in the project IP strategy development.

Qualifications For The Role

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (should be full-time)Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in Design and Development of Mechanical Parts and Assemblies (Sheet-Metal components, Casted & Machined Metal parts and Molded Plastic parts)Hands-on experience in prototyping, type testing, and interpreting technical drawings.Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo 3D CAD software.Strong technical knowledge of Medium Voltage Switchgear (AIS / GIS / RMU).Good verbal and written communication skills in English
