Your Role And Responsibilities

Your role and responsibilities:

As an R&D Engineer, you will be an independent contributor in development projects, supporting the full product lifecycle – from concept to implementation and maintenanceContribute to the development of new technologies, products, and solutions by proposing and implementing innovative ideasExecute engineering tasks across the full lifecycle: requirements, design (2D/3D mechanical for both assembly and parts, including BOM), implementation, testing, and validationWork independently while collaborating within cross-functional R&D teamsIdentify technical problems and proactively contribute to solutionsApply engineering standards, tools, and best practices to ensure quality and efficiencyEnsure delivery against project targets (quality, time, scope, cost) and manage risksContribute to product quality improvements and continuous improvement initiativesDocument technical work (designs, results, reports) in a structured and reusable wayCollaborate with internal stakeholders and actively contribute to team objectivesParticipate in IP creation and support innovation and patent activities

Qualifications For The Role

Diploma / Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, product development, or engineering projects in Low Voltage Switchgear.Strong knowledge of Low Voltage Switchgear systems and IEC 61439-2 standards.Proficiency in engineering design tool i.e SolidWorks and experience with product development processes.Experience in preparing engineering documentation, including 2D/3D drawings, BOMs, product configurator data, and assembly/engineering instructions.Solid technical expertise in electrical or mechanical engineering, with the ability to translate customer specifications and Voice of Customer (VoC) into technical solutions.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and engineering calculation skills using mathematical and physical principles.Excellent communication, collaboration, and English language skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team.
