Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Manage MRO procurement of maintenance spares, consumables, tools, and specialized contractor services as per maintenance requirements and timelines.Plan and control maintenance spare parts inventory, including MSL/ROL, forecasting, criticality assessment, lead-time management, and inventory reduction.Manage maintenance stores operations, ensuring proper receipt, storage, identification, system updates, and availability of critical spares.Develop alternate/local sources for imported, high-cost, and OEM spare parts to optimize cost and improve availability.Coordinate supplier performance and material availability, including PO tracking, delivery follow-up, quality issues, and corrective actions to minimize maintenance downtime.Ensure compliance and continuous improvement through ABB procurement procedures, Ariba/catalogue buying, Lean, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, and applicable ISO standards.
Qualifications For The Role
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (should be full-time)Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in MRO procurement, sourcing, purchase order management, cost negotiation, and vendor development.Hands-on experience in procurement of maintenance spares, including CNC machines, ABB robots, EOT cranes, conveyors, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and air compressor spares.Strong knowledge of SAP-MM, inventory management, invoice processing, import shipment handling, and Incoterms.Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen with experience in continuous improvement initiatives.Strong negotiation, communication, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
