About the Role:

As Zonal Field Manager, you will ensure the achievement of volumes, distribution and visibility target objectives, managing profitability through Leading, coaching and developing the team.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales Development

Coordinates the implementation of the Sales Plan in the zone, ensuring the achievement of sales volume and growth objectives.Monitors continuously the marketplace to determine possible market opportunities and improvement of market penetration of Company's products.Assures that Ferrero's Brands are marketed or introduced in accordance with Company policies to obtain maximum profitability.

Sales Strategy

Develops & proposes the annual operational sales plan for the Zone in conjunction with the Regional Manager, proposing also medium-term sales strategy for the Zone.Assesses market positions and recommends product needs and changes necessary to meet Country sales objectives, consistently with Ferrero Group goals.Ensure ‘Freshness’ levels of the products are in line with the established standard of the organization.

Route to Market & Distribution

Formulating business plans for retailing activities & development of the business unit in consultation with management team for organisational development.Evaluating sales budgets periodically including manpower-planning initiatives and ensure adherence to planned expenses.Planning and effecting setup schedules for key accounts & traditional trade to enhance the market share and improve the business operations.Provide direction to execute promotions/launches in sync with regional characteristics.Developing/sustaining the existing network & effectively managing the supply chain, ensuring timely and cost effective delivery of products.Responsible for demand forecasting & ensuring optimum inventory levels to meet the market requirements.

Profit Centre Management

Leading and managing profit centre operations.Establishing goals, short term and long term budgets, forecasts and developing business plans for the achievement of these goals.Being actively involved in business planning and monitoring performance.Manage & control trade-spends, sales over-heads & supply chain budgets for better profitability of the business.Investing upfront in infrastructure and long term business result areas.

Team Management

Leading, training and motivating sales team ensuring their career development leading to positive contribution to the performance of the company.Conceptualizing & developing need based training modules for developing multi skilled work force for cross utilization within sub processes for optimum efficiency.Ideating training and motivation programs for channel partners.

About You:

8+ years’ experience in sales and/or marketingGrading and designation will be on the applicant current designation and years of work experienceExperience gained in the FMCG segment with a proven track record of success in a similar roleDemonstrable experience in managing complex teamsExcellent communicator and Team Player
