Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer QA to help deliver high-quality digital experiences across Agilent.com and its connected applications. In this role, you will design and implement scalable automated testing solutions, validate critical product and content experiences, and partner closely with development, product, content, and centralized testing teams to improve release quality, reliability, and speed. You will play a key role in strengthening QA coverage across functional, regression, integration, content functional quality validation, and performance testing while mentoring others and promoting modern quality engineering practices.
This role currently follows a hybrid work model. Work arrangements may evolve based on future business needs.
What you’ll do:
Work with a team of engineers to deliver feature set that are crucial to Revenue growth. Be a part of a world class global organization. Automate test cases as part of each sprint to support in-sprint testing, faster validation, and higher release confidence. Design and develop comprehensive automation test scripts and frameworks for our constantly updating A/B testing and personalization workflows. Collaborate with centralized testing team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Collaborate with the development team to understand product features and technical specifications to create effective test plans and strategies. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve them. Mentor QA engineers to deliver better QA coverage and results.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s or master’s Degree or equivalent. 6+ years of relevant experience in QA and automation dev. Hands-on experience with Playwright for full end-to-end automation, including test design, execution, debugging, and maintenance across modern web applications. Collaborate with the development team to understand product features and technical specifications to create effective test plans and strategies. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve them. Experience writing exceptional test cases in JIRA, Cucumber etc. Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. Solid understanding of the AI-assisted software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Experience with setting up test automation with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD is a must. Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, React, JavaExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a collaborative perspective. Experience in Using generative AI for test case generation and execution

Ability to fully utilize agentic development techniques, including AI-assisted coding, automated test generation, code review support, documentation acceleration, and workflow automation, to improve engineering efficiency, delivery speed, and overall development quality.
