Founding Team – Campus & Industry Partnerships LeadTutorac | Hyderabad (Hybrid) | Full-time | ₹10–15 LPA + Performance Bonus + Equity
ABOUT TUTORACTutorac (tutorac.com) is a learning marketplace that brings students, independent tutors, training institutes and companies onto one platform: live classes, courses, batches, workshops and tutor hiring, all in one place. The product is built and live. Now we're building the founding team that takes it across India.
THE ROLEYou'll open Tutorac to colleges and universities, and connect them with the IT companies and GCCs that hire their graduates. Start with free workshops and webinars by our tutors, earn each college's trust, get students signed up, and help them use Tutorac to find tutors for the real skills they want to learn. Then bring industry in: companies that sponsor skilling programs and hire job-ready students from our partner campuses.
WHAT YOU'LL DOCampus• Build partnerships with universities and colleges: training & placement officers, HODs and principals• Sign MoUs and tie-ups, and schedule free workshops and webinars with our tutors• Run campus events and drive student signups• Turn signups into active users: students posting learning requirements and hiring tutors• Build a student ambassador network on every partner campus• Start in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, then expand across India
Industry• Build partnerships with IT companies and GCCs in Hyderabad for sponsored skilling programs and fresher hiring pipelines• Connect partner colleges with industry through guest sessions, projects and hiring drives• Show companies results they care about: trained, assessed, job-ready students
IN YOUR FIRST 60 DAYS• Partnerships signed with colleges in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh• Workshops delivered and student signups from each campus• The first students posting requirements and hiring tutors• A shortlist of IT companies and GCCs to approach once the first student cohorts show results
YOU'LL FIT IF YOU• Have an MBA from a reputed institute (preferred) and 2+ years in campus relations, placements, institutional sales or edtech partnerships• Already have a network with colleges (a big plus)• Have connections with campus-hiring or talent teams at IT companies or GCCs (a plus)• Are just as confident pitching a principal, addressing 300 students, or presenting to a company's talent head• Speak English plus Telugu and/or Hindi• Are comfortable travelling to campuses
WHAT WE OFFER• ₹10–15 LPA fixed + performance bonus (on paying student users and signed industry partnerships) + equity, vesting over 4 years with a 1-year cliff• A founding-team seat: work directly with the founder, own your function, build your own team• Hybrid, Hyderabad, with campus travel• Early-stage pace: high ownership, fast decisions, results over hours
