Job Description

Are you passionate about crafting exceptional drinks and creating unforgettable experiences? We're seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in Chennai, India. As a key member of our bar staff, you'll be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, engaging with customers, and contributing to a vibrant atmosphere that keeps our patrons coming back for more.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, and seasonal specialsCreate a welcoming and fun atmosphere for guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable experienceMaintain an in-depth knowledge of our drink menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profilesAssist in developing new cocktail recipes and contribute ideas for menu updatesProcess cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficientlyAdhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP guidelinesCollaborate with other bar and restaurant staff to ensure smooth operationsKeep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all timesMonitor alcohol consumption of patrons and practice responsible servingAssist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environmentExtensive knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and cocktail recipesStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindsetAbility to multitask and work efficiently under pressureDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsBasic math skills for cash handling and inventory managementPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPositive attitude and enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiencesTeam player willing to support colleagues across different areas of serviceKnowledge of local liquor laws and commitment to responsible alcohol serviceFood Handler's certification or willingness to obtain oneProficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
