The Workplace Experience Manager (W-I) is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across our global capability and support facilities in Bangalore, championing an exceptional, customer-first workplace environment for all Woolworths Group brands and team members.In this role, you will lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing on-site Workplace Experience and Front of House team, as well as manage integrated vendor partnerships. You will bridge physical workplace operations, hospitality, and modern hybrid ways of working—curating an environment that drives collaboration, culture, and operational resilience. Serving as the primary operational anchor and senior escalation point on site, you will oversee end-to-end service delivery, soft facilities management, space utilization, and workplace engagement programs, ensuring seamless alignment between Bangalore operations and global enterprise standards.

What you’ll bringStrategic planning & Continuous ImprovementWorkplace Roadmap Execution: Develop and deliver an evolving Workplace Experience Roadmap for the Bangalore campus that mirrors global enterprise standards while tailoring activations to local site needs.Space Utilization & Analytics: Monitor and evaluate attendance trends, desk utilization, meeting room usage, and workplace feedback to recommend proactive space reconfigurations and operational improvements.Continuous Innovation: Challenge the status quo by introducing modern workplace hospitality standards, digital self-service tools, and streamlined administrative workflows.Sustainability & Wellness: Champion sustainability practices across office operations (waste reduction, energy conservation, green initiatives) and coordinate wellness amenities that support team well-being.
Daily Office OperationsWelcoming Concierge & Visitor Management: Oversee reception, front-of-house hospitality, and visitor management systems, ensuring VIP guests, partners, and team members receive a polished, seamless welcome.Workplace Readiness & Standards: Ensure shared collaborative spaces, quiet focus zones, meeting rooms, and team hubs are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and brand presentation.Onboarding & Employee Experience: Partner with People & Culture and IT to execute a frictionless first-day workplace orientation, desk setup, and facility access experience for all new hires.Supplies, Inventory & Asset Care: Manage office supplies, kitchen amenities, mail/courier operations, asset registers, and workplace lockers with robust tracking and budget control.
Events, Culture & Community ManagementInternal Events & Activations: Plan and execute impactful campus events, town halls, cultural celebrations, leadership visits, and team-building activations in partnership with cross-functional leaders.Community Engagement: Implement a vibrant "Community Management" model across floors to gather employee pulse feedback, drive belonging, and champion the Woolworths Voice of Team (VOT) program.Cross-Site Collaboration: Coordinate logistics for visiting global executives, providing executive-level support, meeting coordination, and hospitality arrangements.
Vendor Management & Soft Facilities ServicesVendor Partnerships & SLAs: Oversee performance, SLAs, and commercial governance for outsourced service partners, including commercial cleaning, security, catering, indoor plants, waste management, and pest control.Budget Oversight & Commercial Discipline: Manage the site soft-services operational budget (OPEX), approve service invoices, and identify efficiency opportunities without compromising safety or quality.Safety, Compliance & Emergency Preparedness: Partner with Facilities Management and Health & Safety teams to manage site WHS compliance, statutory obligations, emergency response drills, and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
Leadership & Team developmentPeople Leadership: Lead, coach, and nurture a diverse team of Workplace Coordinators, Receptionists, and facility leads; conduct regular 1:1 check-ins, performance reviews, and career development planning.Service Mindset Culture: Foster an inclusive, proactive, "can-do" culture dedicated to customer first, team first service excellence.Capability Building: Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ongoing training programs for workplace operations and customer service consistency.
Stakeholder Management Collaborate with primary business partners to design and execute strategic roadmaps driving targeted workplace environment programs.Engage alongside 360 Workplace leadership and broader Woolworths 360 functions to deliver core organizational goals and outcomes.Foster enduring vendor relationships with external service vendors, maintaining seamless delivery standards and strict SLA adherence across all support facilities
Experience Relevant Track Record: 12+ years of progressive experience in Workplace Operations, Corporate Office Management, Hospitality, or Customer Experience leadership within a fast-paced corporate or multinational enterprise.People Leadership: Proven success managing, coaching, and developing front-of-house or operations teams with demonstrable talent development outcomes.Matrix & Global Environment: Experience operating in global capability centers (GCCs) or matrixed organizations, collaborating across different geographies and time zones.Event & Project Execution: Strong project management background orchestrating large-scale internal events, office moves/fit-outs, or operational transformation initiatives.Vendor & Financial Acumen: Demonstrated capability managing third-party vendor contracts, SLAs, purchase orders, and departmental budgets.Tech-Savvy Operations: Familiarity with modern workplace tools (e.g., Google Workspace, desk/room reservation software, visitor management systems, ServiceNow, or enterprise FM systems like Maximo).
