Role Description The Technical Sales Engineer Cold Rooms is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role is responsible for identifying and developing cold room sales opportunities, conducting site visits, preparing technical proposals, and delivering product presentations to prospective and existing customers. The position involves working closely with design and installation teams to ensure accurate specifications, smooth project execution, and reliable after-sales technical support. The Technical Sales Engineer will manage the sales pipeline, follow up on leads, negotiate commercial terms, and maintain long-term relationships with clients and channel partners. The role requires regular interaction with internal stakeholders to provide market feedback, support product development, and contribute to sales planning and forecasting.
Qualifications
Strong Technical Sales and Sales capabilities, with experience selling engineered solutions or capital equipment.Hands-on Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills related to cold rooms, HVAC, refrigeration, or similar systems.Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build client relationships.Proficiency in opportunity qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation.Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration, or a related technical field.Knowledge of commercial refrigeration, cold chain, and foodservice industry applications is highly beneficial.Comfort working on-site with customers, conducting technical surveys, and coordinating with installation teams.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Willingness to travel within the region for customer visits, site inspections, and partner meetings.
