About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Gen AI Engineer with strong foundational experience in AI/ML and hands-on expertise in Generative AI to build intelligent solutions for the procurement function. The role focuses on leveraging LLMs, RAG architectures, and enterprise data to automate sourcing, contract management, supplier insights, and spend analytics.

What You’ll Be Doing

Gen AI Solution DevelopmentDevelop Gen AI use cases across procurement:Contract summarization and clause extractionRFx (RFP/RFQ) document generationSupplier risk insights and evaluationSpend classification and query-based analyticsBuild and enhance procurement copilots and chatbots for business users LLM & RAG ImplementationDesign and implement RAG pipelines using procurement documents and enterprise datasetsWork with LLM ecosystems:Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Vertex AI, AWS BedrockApply prompt engineering and embeddings for domain-specific optimization Data IntegrationIntegrate data from:ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)Procurement platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Sirion)Process structured/unstructured data (contracts, invoices, vendor data) Model Optimization & EvaluationFine-tune and evaluate models for procurement-specific scenariosImprove response quality, reduce hallucinations, and ensure accuracyImplement feedback loops for continuous improvements Deployment & EngineeringDevelop APIs and microservices for AI integrationDeploy scalable solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)Work with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) Collaboration & InnovationWork closely with procurement stakeholders and product teamsTranslate business requirements into AI-driven solutionsContribute to POCs, innovation initiatives, and roadmap planning

Essential Skills / Experience

Experience:

3 to 5 years of total experience in software/AI engineeringMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Generative AI / LLM developmentExposure to procurement or supply chain domain preferred

Technical Skills:

Strong programming in Python

Experience with:

LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)Prompt engineering & RAG pipelinesREST API developmentKnowledge of NLP fundamentalsCloud & Tools

Experience with at least one:
