Role SummaryAs a Product Manager at Yulu, you will own the product experience for gig workers who rely on Yulu for their daily mobility, from the rental journey to battery swaps. Your goal is to make every ride seamless, reliable, and cost-efficient so gig workers can maximize their earnings. Working with engineering, data science, business, and operations, you will use user insights, real-time analytics, and AI-driven optimization to improve gig worker satisfaction and retention.If you thrive on solving real-world user pain points, improving financial outcomes for gig workers, and building scalable mobility solutions, join us in shaping the future of electric last-mile mobility!
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & RoadmapOwn the gig worker journey end-to-end, from rental to battery swaps, removing friction at every step.Define the product vision and strategy for the gig worker experience, grounded in user insights and business goals.Build and prioritize the roadmap around measurable outcomes: gig worker earnings, satisfaction, and retention.Drive products from ideation to launch and scale, iterating continuously on what the data and the field show.Collaboration & ExecutionOwn Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), integrating insights from engineering, business, and customer support, and socialize them to align teams on scope and expectations.Work with founders and cross-functional teams in a matrix setup, balancing stakeholder needs to deliver high-impact solutions.Act as a product advocate, articulating product value and upcoming enhancements, and run demos to drive adoption and gather feedback.Proactively address roadmap bottlenecks, working with the team to ensure seamless execution and the achievement of product goals.Innovation & GrowthIdentify and drive new product ideas and enhancements from user and stakeholder insights.Scale the gig worker experience as Yulu expands into new cities and markets.Metrics & InsightsSet OKRs and success metrics for the gig worker experience, and review them regularly with the team.Measure the impact of every launch, using experiments and funnel analysis across the rental and battery swap journeys to decide what to build next.Spend regular time in the field with gig workers and ops teams, combining what you see with support and usage data to find the biggest pain points.Flag risks early and drive solutions to complex problems.
Key RequirementsB.Tech / MBA or equivalent practical experience in product management.5+ years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of delivering impactful products.Experience building consumer-facing mobile products used daily at scale, ideally in mobility, logistics, quick-commerce, or on-demand delivery.Ability to define, track, and drive product outcomes through clear metrics, OKRs, and data-led decisions.Hands-on use of AI tools in daily product workflows, from input collection and research to documentation and prototyping.A habit of spending time in the field with gig workers and ops teams, turning direct user insights into product decisions.Deep ownership and a strong sense of urgency, with the ability to drive initiatives from ideation to execution in a fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
