The Role & Responsibilities

Responsibility to oversee local and remote digital design activities for 1 or more products which may include the technical leadership of silicon development.Managerial and organizational responsibility of digital design team consisting of engineers and managers of diverse experience levels. Influence the activities of central organizations like Physical Design, DFT and DV.Build and retain high caliber engineering organisation Drive clarity in an environment of ambiguityWork within the wider ADI digital design community to proliferate & share best practice methodologies and technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

BTech/MTech/PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with ~18+ years relevant digital ASIC development experience.

Required Skills/Experience:

Excellent project management and organizationskills, with experience managing digital design resources:Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to understand and clearly articulate technical issues.Proven experience in productively engaging with cross-functional, global development teams with strong sense of responsibility to deliver on project milestones.Contribute to the development of the business case for new project concepts.Experience in architecture and specification of complex digital systems in various applications.Broad experience working with digital design, verification, and implementation toolsStrong knowledge of RTL coding techniques and good design practices (LINT,CDC,RDC), Low Power design techniques/UPF, Power analysisStrong understanding of digital physical implementation challenges (synthesis, place-and-route, DFT, STA, etc.).Experience in the use of FPGA in development flow.Good supplementary skills in scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, Python, or similar.Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, at all levels of organization (Engineering direct reports, team members, and Executive Leadership)
