Job Overview

As a Quality Leader, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of Quality Management Systems, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. You will drive quality excellence across manufacturing operations, ensure compliance with international standards, enhance customer satisfaction, and support business growth through robust quality processes and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Quality Management System (QMS)

Lead and maintain Quality Management Systems in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.Ensure successful execution of internal, customer, and certification audits.Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and standards.

Customer Quality Management

Drive customer satisfaction by addressing complaints, warranty issues, and quality concerns. Lead root cause analysis using 8D, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and other problem-solving methodologies. Coordinate with customers to ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.

Supplier Quality Management

Develop suppliers through audits, capability assessments, and improvement initiatives. Monitor supplier performance through quality KPIs and supplier scorecards. Drive supplier quality improvement projects and ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Continuous Improvement

Drive Lean Manufacturing Kaizen and Six Sigma initiatives across the plant. Identify opportunities for waste reduction, process optimization, and cost savings. Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.

Team Leadership

Lead and develop quality teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Conduct quality awareness programs and training sessions for employees. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R&D.

New Product Introduction

Support product development and launch activities through APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Validation. Ensure quality requirements are incorporated throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline. 12-15 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management within manufacturing industries. Proven experience in Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, and Manufacturing Quality. Strong knowledge of QMS standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, and Problem-Solving Tools. Experience in leading internal and external audits. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
