Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the construction and/or O&M site and lead all site execution activities.Plan and coordinate on-site activities in collaboration with the Project Manager, including resource planning and site personnel management.Drive site operations in accordance with contractual requirements and ensure delivery within approved schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.Act as the primary point of contact for customer representatives, local authorities, and other site stakeholders.Support technical discussions and coordinate issue resolution with customers and project teams.Ensure implementation and compliance with the site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Plan.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all site personnel are trained and compliant with Hitachi Energy HSE policies and standards.Take appropriate actions to ensure the safety and well-being of employees, contractors, and other personnel on site.Manage site budgets, monitor project expenditures, prepare cost forecasts, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions when required.Oversee subcontractor performance, including work execution, claims management, payment certifications, and contractual compliance.Facilitate the capture and implementation of lessons learned from previous projects and share project learnings across the organization.Ensure all project documentation is properly maintained, updated, and controlled, with the latest revisions available for site activities.Monitor project schedules, identify risks and critical path activities, and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager in EPC projects, high-voltage substations, power transmission, or related electrical infrastructure projects.Proven ability to lead site teams and deliver projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices and regulations.Sound understanding of contract management and commercial aspects of project execution.Good knowledge of high-voltage substation construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance activities.Experience in schedule management, including critical path analysis, risk identification, and mitigation planning.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and teamwork skills.Self-motivated professional with the ability to drive alignment among internal teams, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Technical Skills

Working knowledge of Primavera P6.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Familiarity with project planning, reporting, cost control, and documentation management tools.
