Job Purpose

To meet requirements of hydraulic core competency as per specifications defined for projects/machines by Marketing and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Selection and sizing of Hydraulics components for construction equipment like Skid Steer Loader, Backhoe loader, Excavator, CompactorPerform calculations, make hydraulic schematics, conduct simulationIntegrations of Hydraulic parts in the equipment layoutHydraulic related plumbing design and routing on CAD software and 2D drawing preparationPIR resolution, DFMEA , test requests and design documentationResolve internal and external customer complaints, conduct field visits whenever necessary

Experience Required

Minimum 10+ years of Industry experience.Knowledge of applicable standards, calculation at vehicle level for component sizing, selection, and design of hydrostatic drives, valves, pump, plumbing routing & bracketsAbility to interpret results from FEA, Knowledge of using hydraulic simulation tools is preferredCREO 3D Modeling and 2D DraftingUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Principles, DFMEA & Visual Mock-up basic knowledgeUnderstanding of tools used for Root Cause Analysis and Problem SolvingApplication knowledge of PLM Tools (e.g. Teamcenter & Enovia)Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skillsGood presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor/ Master in Mechinical engineering
