Work: 6 Days working - WFO - Rotational Shift

Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor for our Entertainment Desk. The role involves editing engaging video content focused on entertainment, film, celebrity, and digital-first storytelling formats. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced newsroom environment and producing high-quality short and long-form videos for digital audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit entertainment-focused video content for digital platforms

Work on film, celebrity, OTT, and lifestyle-based video stories

Create engaging cuts, reels, and packaged videos suitable for social media and web platforms

Add transitions, subtitles, graphics, music, and effects as required

Ensure timely delivery while maintaining editorial and visual quality standards

Collaborate with content writers, producers, and desk teams for story execution

Adapt raw footage into compelling digital storytelling formats

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent)

Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual structure

Experience in editing digital-first or non-news entertainment content preferred

Knowledge of current entertainment trends and viral content formats

Ability to work under tight deadlines in a newsroom setup

Attention to detail and strong visual aesthetics
