Senior Software Engineer

Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and SQL, along with experience in designing and developing enterprise-grade applications.   Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Develop and maintain Microservices-based applications using Spring Boot. Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Java code. Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar RDBMS. Implement business logic, data validation, exception handling, and API security. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production defects. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, architects, and business teams. Work with Git-based version control and follow Agile/Scrum development practices. Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and continuous improvement of backend services.   Required Skills 3–5 years of professional experience in Java backend development. Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading, and Java 8+ features. Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework. Good experience in Microservices architecture and development. Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, and API integration. Good experience with SQL and relational databases. Experience with JPA/Hibernate. Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools. Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket. Good understanding of Unit Testing using JUnit/Mockito. Understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.
