Senior IAM Engineer (Sailpoint ISC)

As a Senior IAM Engineer, you will play a central role in developing and strengthening our Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities.

You will help ensure that applications across Topsoe are securely connected to and governed by our IAM platform, supporting the complete employee lifecycle—from joining the company to changing roles and leaving the organisation. As Senior Lead IAM Engineer, you will provide technical leadership while helping scale Topsoe’s identity security capabilities. You will work with IAM, cybersecurity, IT operations, application teams, and external partners to deliver secure and reliable access solutions.

You Will

Lead IAM engineering and coordinate development and operations activities.Design and maintain integrations between SailPoint ISC and enterprise systems such as SAP, HR platforms, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.Lead application onboarding to SailPoint ISC, covering:Joiner, Mover, Leaver processesProvisioning and deprovisioningAccess requests and approvalsAccess reviews and certificationsRBAC and least-privilege controlsProvide guidance and direction in IAM architecture, design principles, platform configuration, and the technical roadmap.Act as a senior escalation point for complex IAM incidents and integration issues.Improve access models, roles, and entitlement structures.Define reusable patterns, standards, and technical documentation.Support knowledge transfer from external partners to the internal IAM team.Work with the service owner and stakeholders to improve platform quality and reduce technical debt.You will play a key role in building Topsoe’s internal IAM capabilities and establishing sustainable ways of working for the future.

What You Will Bring To The Role

You are an experienced IAM professional who combines strong SailPoint expertise with practical engineering and troubleshooting skills. You can work at both strategic and hands-on levels and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. You bring:

Strong experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and IdentityNow.A relevant SailPoint certification, preferably.Good knowledge of IAM and IGA principles.Experience with JML processes, provisioning and deprovisioning, access requests, access reviews, RBAC, ABAC, and least privilege.Experience with REST APIs, JSON, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.Strong troubleshooting skills across application, identity, API, and cloud environments.The ability to create reusable IAM patterns, standards, and documentation.A collaborative, structured, and proactive approach to problem-solving.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across teams, cultures, and locations.It is an advantage if you have:Experience with large-scale application onboarding.Programming or scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell.Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Topdesk, SAP, and HR systems.

Your New Team

With identity management becoming increasingly important, Topsoe is investing in building an internal IAM team to ensure that Topsoe’s identities are secure and well managed.

Although a good number of applications are already onboarded, our ambition is to onboard all Topsoe applications onto our IAM platform. The team has members in both Denmark and India and will work on the ongoing onboarding project as well as the platform’s daily operations.
