Job DescriptionResponsible for the end-to-end management of Cognex’s European vehicle fleet (~200 vehicles across 18+ countries), combining hands-on operations with ownership of cost, suppliers, policy, and performance. The role ensures the fleet is managed efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively, with strong financial control.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full vehicle lifecycle (order → delivery → in-life management → return), including orders, renewals, returns, inspections, and damage handlingAct as the primary point of contact for drivers and fleet suppliers, managing all queries and issuesMaintain accurate fleet records, contracts, and vehicle data, ensuring alignment with financial and payroll systemsManage relationships with leasing and rental providers (e.g. ALD Automotive, Arval), ensuring delivery in line with agreed terms and service levelsOwn the review, validation, and approval of all fleet supplier invoices, ensuring: -Accuracy against contracted rates -Correct application of lease, damage, and service charges -Proper coding to cost centres and GL accountsPartner with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing and paymentMaintain and reconcile fleet cost data (leases, damages, usage), supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost trackingIdentify cost trends and drive cost control and savings initiativesOwn and maintain the European Fleet Policy, ensuring compliance and alignment with business needsEnsure data accuracy and reporting on fleet cost, usage, and performance across countries
