Job Description
Job Purpose
Jr Associate – Investigation & Fraud Prevention (I&FP) will be directly involved in the day-to-day functioning of the unit.
will directly be accountable for conducting travel document checks at airport.
Shall ensure prevention of passengers travelling to North America, United Kingdon & Europe on fraudulent travel documents.
Attend regular briefing & ensure communication with the I&FP team for maintaining professionalism.
Assist in investigation of fraudulent travel documents under guidance of shift in charge.
Conduct system profiling and check-in counter surveillance.
Ensure collecting photocopies of intercepted passengers on inadequate/forged documents
Ensure discrepancy formed is appropriately filled and signed by I & FP supervisor and AOD supervisor.
Any other responsibility assigned by the Supervisor/Shift In-charge/Lead/Head – I&FP
Key Accountabilities
Attend regular briefing & ensure communication with the I&FP team for maintaining professionalism.
Escort of inadmissible (INAD) passengers from India to other countries and vice-versa.
To support and provide necessary inputs for any investigations & legal notices with respect to cases related to travel documents, offloading of passenger, etc.,
Any other responsibility assigned by the Supervisor/Shift In-charge/Lead/Head – I&FP.
Skills/Qualities Required
For the targeted flight, Jr.Associate (I&FP) will ensure to carry out the following checks at three stages:
Profiling of passengers from DCS system
Physical profiling of passengers/travel documents at check-in area/transfer desk
Interviewing/profiling of passengers and travel documents prior to boarding
Carry out travel document checks at flight boarding gate for the targeted flights.
Identify the fraudulent travel documents and improper travel documentation and report the same to Supervisor/Shift In-charge.
During checks, the doubtful profile of travel documents to be escalated to Supervisor/Shift In-charge.
Ensure to keep abreast with the latest travel document requirements for various countries.
Proactively participate in the training/refresher’s courses on the travel documents, in addition to the mandatory Avsec courses.

Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Turnaround Times (TATs)
Ensure on time performance, with 100% compliance on secondary travel document checks for targeted flights
Background Checks and Clearances
To maintain integrity, periodic background checks carried out on the staff involved in document checks
Issue Management
Resolution of issue within stipulated timelines
Record Accuracy and Compliance
Maintain the record of travel document frauds and ensure compliance of country-wise travel document requirements
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain documentation of fraudulent travel document detected and on time submission of incident report
