How can you make an Impact?

This critical role within the Global Technology Services (GTS) Business Systems department is responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks using JMeter, Selenium, or Playwright with TypeScript. As the single point of contact from Offshore for the Quality Assurance and test team, this role provides technical guidance to QA/QC teams both onshore and offshore, supports process innovation, and drives SDLC process improvement and automation across the department. This role is focused on back-office software applications, providing feedback and recommendations on technical quality across SOA, Oracle SaaS, and other cloud/SaaS-based applications.

What can you expect from the position?

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using JMeter, Selenium with Java/Cucumber, Playwright with TypeScript, GitHub Actions, and AI prompt-writing capabilities, automating and maintaining test scripts with reusability in mind across SOA, Oracle SaaS, and other cloud-based applications.Provide technical assistance to the Performance Testing Team, QA/QC team, developers, and project managers to ensure software delivery is completed efficiently and to QA standards.Evolve Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment processes by helping implement new workflows and tools that move testing closer to the point of code change.Document test results, create and track bugs for the software development team, isolate and resolve issues throughout testing, and review user interfaces for consistency.Test and respond to software quality assurance issues, communicating effectively on findings and status.Improve efficiencies by introducing innovation and effective strategies across the QA cycle, leveraging the latest automation tools available in the market.

Experience & Education Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Minimum of 4 years of IT software quality assurance experience in ERP and web-based application testing.Minimum of 3-4 years of demonstrated experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium Java and Cucumber, or Playwright with TypeScript.Exposure to ERP Oracle Apps EBS, SOA, SQL databases, JMeter, and UFT.Strong understanding of software development life cycles (Agile, Waterfall, iterative, etc.) and quality assurance processes.Experience in Enterprise QA, functional and performance testing and automation techniques and tools (JMeter, Selenium/Java Cucumber).Experience supporting SDLC tools and processes (ServiceNow, JIRA, Jenkins, Confluence, GitHub, PVCS, or similar).Multiple years of testing and automating tests for large-scale ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, SOA).Exposure to multiple test automation tools.

Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.Excellent coordination and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to analyze software gaps and recommend improvements to overall software quality.Ability to communicate quality metrics clearly to the product team.
