Join us as a Platform Engineer to join our dynamic Data Storage team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of database technologies such as Postgres, MongoDB, ClickHouse, etc., and a strong curiosity to learn how to manage and automate large-scale infrastructure in a distributed system environment.

Your Impact at Brevo:

Design and implement data storage solutions that meet the performance, reliability, security, and scalability requirements of our software products, using automation tools such as Terraform and AnsiblePerform installation, configuration, parameter tuning, and monitoring of database technologies using automation tools like Ansible or TerraformMonitor and optimise performance to ensure high availability and reliabilityDevelop and implement data backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard against data loss and ensure business continuityCollaborate with internal teams to understand hosting requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needsParticipate in automation for deployment pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventionHelp diagnose and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal service disruptionMaintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, processes, and proceduresParticipate in on-call rotations to provide timely incident response and support for production database environments, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business impact

Who you are:

Experience between 4-8 yearsMust have good knowledge of LinuxMust be well-versed in managing any of the data engines: NoSQL, SQL, RDBMS, Object Storage, File Storage (i.e. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Clickhouse, ScyllaDB, Minio, etc.)Must have a strong understanding of data backup and disaster recovery best practices and methodologiesMust have good knowledge of Ansible, Bash or Terraform for automation tasksMust possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex storage issues and develop effective solutionsMust be comfortable participating in on-call rotations, taking ownership of production incidents, and responding to critical database issues promptly outside of regular working hours
