Roles & Responsibilities:Managing all complex underwriting quotes and/or proposals of that specific cargo segmentHandling reinsurance aspects of that segmentIdentifying niche pockets within the segment for potential and sustainable business growthMonitoring claims and loss reserves of the segment and working in synergy with claims team for optimize loss reserves of that segmentSeamless working with marine risk management team for controlling and managing of losses for further improvement of bottom lineCreate risk register of various cargo forming part of that segment.Good understanding of large risks underwriting.
