Position description: Driving strategic planning and execution for optimal product assortment, pricing, and promotions to enhance overall organizational efficiency and profitability.
Primary Responsibilities:
Category Strategy Development:Develop and implement effective category strategies aligned with overall business objectives.Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for category growth.
Supplier Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize value and mitigate risks.
Inventory Control:Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts.Implement inventory optimization techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce carrying costs.
Data Analysis and Reporting:Utilize data analytics to assess category performance and make data-driven decisions.Generate regular reports to track key performance indicators and communicate insights to stakeholders.
