Job Description:

Role Summary:

The Key Account Manager (PDT Public) is responsible for driving access, adoption, and growth of Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) and Rare Disease within government institutions, public healthcare systems, and strategic accounts. The role involves stakeholder engagement, account planning, tender management, demand generation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal patient access and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic account plans for key public sector hospitals and institutions.Build and maintain relationships with clinicians, pharmacists, procurement teams, administrators, and government stakeholders.Drive tender planning, contract execution, and business growth across assigned public accounts.Identify opportunities to improve patient access and optimize utilization of PDT products.Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and healthcare policies impacting the public sector.Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to achieve account objectives.Deliver sales targets, forecasting accuracy, and account performance metrics while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.Proven experience in Hemophilia, Rare Disease, pharmaceutical/biologics sales, key account management, or institutional business.Strong understanding of public healthcare systems, tender processes, and stakeholder management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.Ability to manage complex accounts and work effectively across cross-functional teams.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Qualifications & Experience -:Bachelor’s Degree required.5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience in PDT or other specialty segments.Established professional relationships within the assigned geography preferred.Skills & Behavioral Competencies -:Strong presentation and communication skills.High level of scientific acumen with the ability to engage medical professionals in a compliant and credible manner.Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.High learning agility and adaptability in a competitive environment.Demonstrates ownership mindset and accountability for results.
