Job Description – Guest Service Associate (GSA) – Fresher

Position:Guest Service Associate (GSA)

Department:Restaurant Operations

Job Purpose

The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing a warm, friendly, and memorable dining experience to guests by delivering excellent customer service and supporting smooth restaurant operations. This role is ideal for freshers who are passionate about hospitality and eager to learn and grow in the food and beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome guests with a warm smile and assist them to their tables.

* Introduce the restaurant's buffet and live grill concept to guests.

* Serve food and beverages as per company service standards.

* Refill grills, buffet items, and beverages as required.

* Ensure guests are comfortable and promptly respond to their requests.

* Thank guests while they leave and encourage them to visit again.

Restaurant Operations

* Set up and clear tables before and after service.

* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, buffet counters, and service stations.

* Assist team members during busy service hours.

* Follow opening, closing, and shift procedures.

* Handle restaurant equipment carefully and maintain cleanliness.

Food Safety & Hygiene

* Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.

* Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards as per company policy.

* Wear the prescribed uniform and safety equipment during duty.

Learning & Development

* Attend all induction and training programs.

* Learn restaurant SOPs, menu knowledge, and service etiquette.

* Take feedback positively and continuously improve performance.

Eligibility

* Minimum Qualification: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Graduate.

* Freshers are welcome.

* Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management/Hospitality is an added advantage but not mandatory.
