Title - E-Auction Bidding Associate

Location: - Noida

Experience: - Minimum 2 years of relevant exp

Job Purpose:-

The E-Auction Portal Management & Bidding Associate is responsible for sourcing non-ferrous metal scrap and material feedstock through India's key institutional e-auction and procurement platforms — MSTC, MetalJunction and the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The role requires strong working knowledge of non-ferrous metal grades, Local pricing dynamics and portal-specific bidding mechanics, and is accountable for winning competitively priced lots that meet the company's feedstock volume and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:-

Continuously track and shortlist relevant non-ferrous scrap/metal tenders and e-auctions on MSTC, MetalJunction and GeM. Evaluate lot specifications (metal grade, purity, form, quantity, location) against Attero's feedstock requirements. Prepare and validate bid pricing in coordination with the commodity/pricing desk, referencing LME and domestic benchmark rates. Submit competitive, compliant bids within portal timelines; manage EMD, registration, KYC and other portal documentation. Coordinate with logistics and quality teams post-award for lifting, transportation and inspection of won lots. Maintain accurate bid trackers and MIS reporting on tenders tracked, bids placed, win rates and volumes secured. Monitor competitor bidding behaviour and market price trends to refine bidding strategy. Escalate discrepancies, disputes or portal-related issues to the reporting manager and relevant internal stakeholders. Stay current on portal policy changes, e-auction rules and government procurement norms (scrap trade regulations where applicable).

Required Skills & Competencies:-

Functional / Technical

Working knowledge of non-ferrous metals — copper, aluminium, brass, lead, zinc, nickel — including grades, purity classifications and typical scrap forms. Familiarity with LME pricing mechanisms and how they translate to domestic bid pricing. Hands-on experience bidding on MSTC and/or MetalJunction and/or GeM portals (prior exposure to at least one strongly preferred). Comfortable with EMD management, portal documentation and e-auction compliance requirements.

Behavioural

High attention to detail — pricing and documentation errors carry direct financial risk. Ability to work under tight bid-submission deadlines. Strong coordination skills across procurement, logistics, quality and finance functions. Analytical mindset for market/price-trend interpretation.

Qualification & Experience Education

Graduate/Postgraduate in Metallurgy, Commerce, Business Administration or related field Experience 2–6 years in metal/scrap trading, commodity procurement or e-auction bidding (non-ferrous exposure preferred) — band to confirm per seniority of hire Portal Exposure Demonstrated prior bidding experience on MSTC / MetalJunction / GeM strongly preferred
