Job Title: Associate Inventory OperationsDepartment: Inventory / OperationsJob Type: Full-TimeExperience: 1–3 years in warehouse/inventory operations preferred
Job OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Cycle Count Auditor to manage and perform regular inventory cycle counts and audits at the warehouse.The role will be responsible for physically verifying inventory against system records, identifying discrepancies, investigating the root cause, and ensuring accurate inventory records. The candidate should have strong attention to detail and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct daily/weekly cycle counts as per the defined audit plan.Physically count and verify inventory across assigned bins and locations.Match physical inventory with system inventory and identify any discrepancies.Verify SKU, product quantity, batch, expiry, MRP and other relevant inventory details.Identify and report shortage, excess, damaged, misplaced and suspicious inventory.Ensure that all inventory found on the warehouse floor is properly accounted for and highlighted during the audit.Investigate inventory mismatches and coordinate with the concerned teams for resolution.Identify the RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for recurring inventory discrepancies.Maintain proper documentation of all cycle count observations and discrepancies.Prepare and share daily/weekly cycle count reports with accurate remarks and supporting details.Ensure that pending discrepancies are followed up and closed within the defined timeline.Re-audit bins/SKUs wherever required after corrective action.Coordinate with Inventory, Operations, QC, Putaway and other relevant teams for inventory accuracy.Ensure proper adherence to warehouse SOPs and inventory control processes.Escalate critical or recurring discrepancies to the reporting manager on priority.Support inventory audits, stock verification and other inventory-related activities as required.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Inventory accuracyCycle count completion as per defined scheduleAccuracy of physical vs. system inventoryTimely identification and closure of discrepanciesQuality and accuracy of audit reportsTimely RCA and corrective action trackingReduction in recurring inventory discrepanciesCompliance with inventory audit SOPs
Required SkillsStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.Basic understanding of warehouse and inventory processes.Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate their causes.Good documentation and reporting skills.Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams.Good communication and follow-up skills.Willingness to work on the warehouse floor and perform physical inventory counts.Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Educational QualificationMinimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.Candidates with experience in warehouse, inventory, stock audit, cycle count or operations will be preferred.

Work ExpectationsMaintain 100% accuracy while conducting physical counts and reporting discrepancies.All discrepancies must be properly documented with clear remarks.Any suspicious, excess, shortage, damaged or unidentified inventory must be highlighted immediately.No audit observation should be left undocumented or pending without proper remarks.Daily cycle count activities and reports must be completed within the defined timeline.The associate will be expected to proactively identify inventory issues rather than only reporting system-generated discrepancies.
