About The Company

Tata Communications Redefines Connectivity with Innovation and IntelligenceDriving the next level of intelligence powered by Cloud, Mobility, Internet of Things, Collaboration, Security, Media services and Network services, we at Tata Communications are envisaging a New World of Communications

Social Content Producer

Creator. Storyteller. Producer.

Role Name: Social Content Producer

Location: Mumbai

Company: Tata Communications

Function: Marketing & Communications

In a nutshell

We are looking for a creative, hands-on Social Content Producer who can turn complex technology and business topics into social-first content people genuinely want to watch, share and engage with.

This is not a traditional social media management role. We are looking for a creator at heart who can spot a story, develop the idea, write the hook, pick up a camera, direct or interview contributors, edit the content and take it from concept to camera to final cut.

You will create content featuring Tata Communications’ business leaders, product experts, employees, customers and external industry voices across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and X.

What you will do

Develop original social-first ideas, recurring formats and content series that help Tata Communications stand out in the B2B technology space. Own the complete content journey: insight, concept, hook, script, storyboard, shoot, edit and final delivery. Turn complex topics across AI, networks, cloud, cybersecurity, IoT, customer experience and digital infrastructure into simple, engaging and human stories. Create short-form videos for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, while also supporting longer-form videos, podcasts, interviews and live content. Interview and direct business leaders, technologists, employees, customers and industry experts, helping them communicate naturally and confidently on camera. Be comfortable behind and, when required, in front of the camera as a host, interviewer or presenter. Capture social-first content at events, leadership conversations, product launches and other relevant moments. Repurpose longer conversations and shoots into multiple platform-specific content assets. Stay close to social trends, creators, audience behaviour and emerging formats, and intelligently adapt them for B2B technology audiences. Use content performance and audience response to test, learn and continuously improve creative formats.

What we are looking for

3–6 years of relevant experience in social content, video creation, creative production, digital media, journalism, publishing, an agency, brand team or creator-led environment. A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating social-first content you personally helped ideate and create. Hands-on experience in shooting, video editing, scripting and post-production. Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or equivalent platforms. Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and YouTube, including hooks, pacing, retention, formats and audience behaviour. Strong interviewing, presentation and on-camera communication skills. Ability to direct senior leaders and subject-matter experts who may not be accustomed to appearing on camera. Strong editorial judgement, visual storytelling ability and attention to detail. Curiosity to understand complex technology and the ability to communicate it without unnecessary jargon. A proactive creator mindset. You bring ideas rather than wait for briefs. Ability to move quickly, manage multiple projects and create quality content without always requiring a large production setup. Willingness to be based in Mumbai and travel for shoots, events and content opportunities when required.

You will stand out if

You have built your own channel, podcast, video series, newsletter or creator project. You have created content for B2B, technology, enterprise or professional audiences. You have interviewed founders, CXOs, technologists or industry leaders. You can demonstrate ideas that originated with you, not only content you were asked to execute. You are comfortable creating with both professional equipment and a smartphone. You have used AI-enabled tools for research, ideation, scripting, editing or content repurposing.

What success looks like

You will help Tata Communications build recognisable social content formats, bring leadership and employee voices to life, make complex technology easier to understand, and create stories that are more human, distinctive, memorable and difficult to scroll past.
