Role Summary

The role supports actuarial valuation and financial reporting activities for Asia life insurance businesses across multiple accounting and regulatory frameworks. The incumbent will work closely with local offices, finance, and global stakeholders to deliver accurate reserve calculations, IFRS 17 reporting, and related actuarial analyses.

Key Responsibilities

Perform US GAAP (US GAAP), US STAT, and Local Statutory valuations for life insurance productsSupport IFRS 17 reporting, including ongoing reporting and implementation / enhancement activitiesAssist with risk-based capital, solvency regime, and regulatory reporting requirementsConduct experience studies (mortality, lapse, expenses, etc.) and support assumption settingAnalyze and explain movements in reserves and financial resultsPrepare and maintain actuarial documentation, methodologies, and audit support materialsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and external consultantsEnsure accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of actuarial outputs
