Qualification, Experience And Competency Requirements

Preferred Education - B.E./ B. Tech in Electrical/Electronic/Automotive Engineering with Automotive Industry experience

Essential

Preferred Experience:

5+ years of relevant experience in Design & Developing automotive fuse boxes.Hands on Experience in Design and Development of Power distribution boxes – LV & HVPlant exposure, Supplier management, Launch support.Good knowledge in design basics, vehicle packaging studies, Architecture, and statutory requirements, etc.Cross functional experience in Design and program management will be an added advantage.Knowledge in Automotive Quality Systems (DFMEA, PPAP, DVP&R, etc...)

Roles & Responsibilities (Not limited to)

Source packaging document including Engineering specifications, timing, ValidationFuse sizing, Relay selection, Wire cross-Section correlation, Electrical load analysis as new developmentResponsible for DFMEA & DVPR - Component level & System LevelActive engagement in System level integration testingResponsible to process Engineering Change requestsActive Engagement in Packaging meetingsManage 3D CAD, 2D drawingsManage Complexity/DiversityManage Owner’s Manual content pertaining to Fuses, RelaysEnsure timely release of design in PLM system (ECR, ECO), timely availability of part for Vehicle BuildsResponsible for design optimization (VAVE)Responsible to resolve issues during bench testing, vehicle builds & field claims (FEW)
