We are seeking a Warranty Claims Assessor to join our global warranty operations team, responsible for reviewing, validating, and processing warranty claims for an assigned automotive commodity (e.g., engine, transmission, electrical, chassis, etc.). This role plays a critical part in ensuring claims are assessed accurately, fairly, and in line with warranty policy, while identifying trends that help reduce warranty costs and improve product quality feedback loops.

Key Responsibilities

Claims Assessment & Processing

Review and assess warranty claims submitted by dealerships/markets globally for the assigned commodity, verifying diagnostic codes, labor operations, parts usage, and repair narratives against warranty policy and technical guidelinesValidate root cause of failure against approved fault codes/diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) to ensure claims are technically justified and not duplicative, fraudulent, or outside policy coverageCross-check claim details (mileage, in-service date, VIN history, prior repair history) to confirm eligibility and prevent claim leakageEnsure accurate coding of failure modes, causal parts, and labor times to support downstream warranty analytics and supplier recovery processesAssess warranty claims across global markets for the assigned commodityAchieve 100% capacity utilizationMaintain claim mix proportionate to intake volumesUphold a 99% quality benchmark in claim assessmentsFlag assessment concerns to Team Leads to strengthen claim controlsRecommend ways to standardize assessing practices, steps, and identify cost-saving opportunities globally

Diploma / B.E in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering

3-6 years’ experience in Automobile dealership preferably experienced at hands on working on vehicle repairs including engine, transmission and diagnosis
