General Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Architect/Engineer with strong expertise in SoC architecture, computer systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of system-level design, hardware/software co-optimization, and modern processor architectures, including ARM & RISC-V embedded cores and application processor cores . This role requires collaboration across architecture, design, verification, software, and product teams to drive innovative SoC solutions from concept through product realization.

Skills / Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field highly desired.

Strong background in SoC and Compute Architecture, including complex heterogeneous computing systems.

Understanding of processor subsystem architecture, memory hierarchy, cache coherence, interconnects, security, virtualization, and performance optimization.

Experience in hardware, system architecture, and software co-design methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams, disciplines, and geographic locations.

Proven ability to influence technical direction through data-driven analysis and cross-functional engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

Areas of Expertise (the more the better)

Candidates should have one or more of the following areas of knowledge and/or expertise:

Preferred domain experience in DDR, Interconnect, System Cache, Coherency, QOS, Modem, DSPs, CPUs (ARM preferred), High and Low Speed peripherals, PCIe / CXL Ips, RISC-V

Expertise in one or more from these Skills: Power Arch, Boot, Debug, Security, Access Control

Understanding of VLSI flow from spec to tape out with proficiency in digital design, HDL languages, Scripting languages

Power and/or performance analysis, simulation, and modelling

Languages (Not Mandatory): C/C++, Python, Perl, SystemVerilog, VHDL, Verilog, SystemC - FPGA/ASIC design

Exposure to HW/SW working model

Strong understanding of the VLSI development flow from architecture specification through tape-out.

Proficiency in digital design, VLSI, computer architecture, RTL/HDL languages, and scripting languages.

Experience with hardware/software co-design and HW/SW system modeling.

Desired: Strong knowledge of RISC-V ISA, processor architecture, memory management, security mechanisms, and ecosystem standards .

Experience with systems with RISC-V embedded processor cores and application processor cores , including architecture tradeoffs for performance, power, area, and scalability.

Experience in processor subsystem design, multicore architectures, cache hierarchies, coherency protocols, memory subsystems, and interconnect architectures.

Memory system architecture, including cache, DDR, high-bandwidth memory, and memory subsystem performance analysis.

Desired: Profiles with expertise spanning both VLSI Design and System Architecture

Desired: Experience working with open standards, industry ecosystems, and emerging processor technologies is a plus.

Desired: Profiles with both VLSI Design and Systems is a plus

Desired: hands on experience with SoC design, integration for complex SoCs and strong understanding in SoC Area, Performance and Power Analysis/tradeoffs.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
