The U.S. Consumer Services and Membership Digital Experiences Technology team (USCDT) brings together foundational strategic technology capabilities in digital experience engineering (Mobile and Web), marketing and advertising technology, enterprise communications, travel and lifestyle, and dining technology. It employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer-facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.
Within USCDT, the Enterprise Communications and Marketing Technology (ECMT) team focuses on developing cutting-edge omni-channel communications, global brand management, and marketing and advertising technology to expand customer engagement and drive business growth. The team plays a critical role in building both customer-facing and core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments.
The Marketing Transformation team is part of USCDT, employs a ground-breaking focus with development responsibilities for customer & marketer facing capabilities that deepen and expand digital engagement, as well as core technical capabilities that cut across business lines and customer segments. The Marketing Transformation team leads the technology strategy and engineering delivery of marketing activities, campaigns, and management of marketing assets.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable AEM Sites and DAM solutions using AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).Develop AEM components, templates, Sling Models, OSGi services, workflows, schedulers, and integrations following established engineering standards.Implement headless content delivery capabilities using AEM Content Services and APIs.Apply AEM DAM best practices, including metadata models, taxonomy, asset organization, and governance.Build and maintain CI/CD and automated development workflows, including AEM Cloud Manager pipelines, to improve delivery quality and efficiency.Design solutions for performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability across distributed systems.Develop and maintain automated tests covering functional and integration scenarios and support performance validation.Collaborate with cross-functional onshore/offshore teams in Agile/Scrum/Kanban environments.Provide technical guidance, participate in design and code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor less-experienced engineers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of software engineering experience, including experience developing scalable enterprise content management and digital experience platforms. Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including: AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) AEM Sites and Digital Asset Management (DAM) Sling APIs and Sling Models OSGi services AEM workflows and schedulers AEM Cloud Manager and CI/CD pipelines Experience designing and implementing headless content delivery solutions using AEM Content Services and APIs. Strong proficiency in AEM development, customization, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Proficiency with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with modern frameworks and tools such as React and Node.js preferred. Experience implementing enterprise Digital Asset Management solutions, including metadata models, taxonomy, and asset management best practices. Strong understanding of application design, APIs, distributed systems, scalability, performance, security, and reliability. Experience with automated testing frameworks, code quality practices, and technical documentation. Experience collaborating effectively with distributed onshore and offshore engineering teams. Strong working knowledge of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and/or Kanban.
