About the Role:-

The Salesforce developer engages directly with global, multi-functional teams to provide user support and assist in strategic development and enhancement of the Customer Relationship Management application (Salesforce). This includes, but is not limited to, direct user engagement and support, key stakeholder support and business analysis, continual business process improvement, assessment and advancement of complementary Salesforce technologies, and alignment to overarching Sales & Marketing business objectives.The Salesforce developer acts as the business-facing Subject Matter Expert for the Salesforce technology stack; primary responsibilities include real-time user support, end-user documentation, assistance in capturing and evaluating business requirements, stakeholder support during UAT and various phases of the development lifecycle, and execution of required development throughout phased implementation. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that Elsevier has a functionally sound and stable Salesforce deployment, and that the desired level of user support is being achieved.

Requirements:-

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field preferred1+ years previous administrative experience with SalesforceSalesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or Developer certification preferredSalesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification preferredExperience working in Agile projectsStrong understanding of how to build and support highly scalable and reliable solutions on Salesforce PlatformProven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous technical issuesDemonstrated support success with at least one large Salesforce OrgUnderstanding of UI design principles and best practicesExceptional analytical skills and experience working with large-scale, complex datasetsCommunication skills for both a technical and business audience
