Process Overview*

Global Information Security (GIS) is responsible for protecting Bank information systems, confidential and proprietary data, and customer information. Cyber Security technology function is responsible of development and maintenance of security products across Bank of America. Team works on various security products and develops in-house products

Job Description*

We invite you to join the Global Information Security (GIS) team at Bank of America as an application/system engineer. In this role, you will utilize the experience you have gained throughout your career to provide hands-on operational deployment and support for commercial and custom software applications.

This is an individual contributor role, working within Microsoft and RHEL environments. Responsibilities include researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting information security technologies. Primary duties will require use of in-depth technical knowledge to manage and enhance both vendor and internally developed applications.

Responsibilities*

Product engineering supportMaintaining release currency for vendor softwareAddressing vulnerability and not permitted technology issuesComplete enterprise governance and compliance tasksScripting vendor API calls to manage bulk transactionsPerforming application analysis using SQL queriesResponding to and creating Splunk queries for application logsCreating Ansible playbooks to automated RHEL VM support actionsTracking issues for engineering and vendor supportContribute to team and enterprise support documentation

Requirements*

Education* B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications If Any : NA

Experience Range* 4-7 years

Foundational skills*

Mastery of developing scripting/automation using Python or PowerShellExperience in any other scripting languages would be advantageManaged code development experience with .NET and/or JavaAbility to understand schemas and create SQL statementsExperience in patch management on hosted middlewareExperience in Systems Engineering and DeploymentExperience in container deployment and configuration using OpenShiftExperience of CI/CD pipeline process, including security integrationsExperience managing an Invicti deployment
