TITLE- Service Technician

What You Will Do
Diagnose and rectify defects in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) and control panels onboard ships.Execute retrofit and commissioning activities for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems (CO₂, FM200, Water Mist, Foam).Perform annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems.Troubleshoot software issues within control panels, including program upload/download.
How You Will Do It
Interpret manuals, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings for troubleshooting.Apply control philosophy knowledge to implement retrofit solutions.Analyze onboard logbook data to identify and resolve system defects.Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and operational excellence.
What We Look For
Education: Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics EngineeringExperience: 5–7 years of hands-on service experience
Required
