Your key responsibilities as a Senior Software Engineer will include:

Take ownership of core microservices, ensuring reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability. Drive the development, optimisation, and stabilisation of existing backend services and data-intensive workloads.Contribute to architecture discussions, technical decision-making, and high-quality pull request reviews.Analyse and resolve complex production issues through 2nd and 3rd level support and root cause investigation.Improve system performance, monitoring, and operational excellence across production environments.Collaborate across teams and occasionally contribute to frontend initiatives where required.

You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Senior Software Engineer:

You will bring several years of experience building, operating, and supporting production-grade backend systems.You will have strong expertise in Java or Kotlin, ideally complemented by hands-on experience with Spring Boot.You will possess proven experience designing and developing microservice architectures at scale.You will have advanced MongoDB and NoSQL knowledge, including aggregations, map-reduce, and performance optimisation techniques.You will demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
