Overview:

The role is responsible for end-to-end HR operations, support in total rewards, payroll governance, employee lifecycle management, statutory compliance, talent initiatives.The incumbent will ensure reliable HR service delivery while partnering with business leaders to translate organizational priorities into practical people strategies and a positive employee experience.Work Environment: office work environment.Occasional business travel, necessitates to local government bodies and vendors.

Responsibilities

HR Operations

Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, probation confirmation, transfers, changes in employment, and separations.Implement HR policies, standard operating procedures, service-level standards, and employee communication processes.Administer the HRMS and maintain accurate employee master data, personnel files, organization structures, and workflows.Ensure employee documentation and record retention comply with company requirements and applicable laws.Drive process improvement, automation, employee self-service, and HR service-delivery initiatives.Manager and administer employee insurance and employee reimbursement process

Payroll and Total Rewards

Coordinate monthly payroll processing with internal stakeholders and external service providers.Validate payroll inputs including attendance, leave, reimbursements, recoveries, and deductions.Ensure timely compliance with applicable requirements relating to PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Gratuity, Labour Welfare Fund, income tax, and other employment obligations.Coordinate statutory filings, payroll reconciliations, audits, inspections, and closure of observations.Support annual tax declaration, investment-proof, Form 16, and year-end payroll activities.Administer employee benefits including insurance, retirement benefits, NPS, wellness programs, and other company-sponsored benefits.Partner with Finance and leadership to monitor reward budgets, benefit utilization, and program effectiveness.

HR Analytics and Reporting

Develop reliable HR dashboards and management reports using HRMS, payroll, survey, and business data.Analyze trends in headcount, attrition, diversity, internal movement, engagement, absenteeism. Convert workforce data into clear insights, risk indicators, and recommendations for leadership decisions.Ensure data quality, confidentiality, and appropriate access controls across HR reports and systems.

Qualifications

MBA / MSW/ PGDM / postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience covering HR operations, compensation and benefits, payroll, compliance, and HR business partnering.Experience in a manufacturing, multinational, or multi-location environment is preferred.Certification or training in Total Rewards, labour laws, HR analytics, job evaluation, or HR systems will be an advantage.
